Italy-Chile, the agreement for co-development was signed at Cannes69

At the 69th Cannes Film Festival, on May 17th, 2016, the agreement for the co-development of feature film projects was signed between Italy and Chile.

Representing the Directorate-General Cinema of MiBACT (Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism) was the Director of the Cinema and Audiovisual Office Maria Giuseppina Troccoli and Chiara Fortuna.

Representing the Consejo del Arte y la Industria Audiovisual Consejo Nacional de la Cultura y las Artes was the Executive Secretary Martìn Rodriguez C. and Costanza Arena, Chief Executive of  Cinemachile.

The Fund is intended for the development of feature film projects-with no limits as to category– destined to primary cinematographic utilization and amounts to 80.000 Euros (40.000€ made available by the Directorate-General Cinema of MiBACT and the other 40.000 € by the Chilean CNCA).

On the website of the Directorate-General Cinema of MiBACT, the guidelines and the application forms will be published.
