Following Bridging the Dragon’s successful Sino-European Project Lab kick-off in 2015, it has announced the 2016 line-up for the Lab in Beijing from 16-19 April and Venice in August/September.
Part of the process of bridging the European and Chinese film industry is finding content that can appeal to both markets and overcome cultural, language and market differences. With this in mind, the Sino-European producers’ association Bridging the Dragon organises its second Sino-European Project Lab. The programme will consist of two four-day residential workshops before the next Beijing and Venice Film Festivals. Six European and six Chinese film projects suitable for co-production or co-financing will be invited for the Lab.
